All DesignedByYou.ai products are printed and fulfilled by Printful, a leading print-on-demand company. Our return policy follows Printful's return guidelines to ensure consistent quality and service.

Please Note: Because all our products are custom-made with your unique AI-generated designs, we cannot accept returns for buyer's remorse, incorrect size selection, or if you simply change your mind about your design. Please double-check your design preview and size selection before placing your order.
When We Accept Returns
We gladly accept returns and offer replacements or refunds in the following situations:
Damaged Products
- Items that arrive damaged, torn, or with visible defects
- Products damaged during shipping
- Broken or cracked items (mugs, coasters, etc.)
Print Quality Issues
- Faded, blurry, or incorrectly printed designs
- Colors significantly different from the preview
- Misaligned or cropped prints
- Missing design elements
Wrong Item Received
- Different product type than ordered
- Wrong size or color than selected
- Someone else's order
Return Timeframe
30 Days: You must contact us within 30 days of receiving your order to be eligible for a return or replacement. Claims submitted after 30 days cannot be processed.
How to Request a Return
To request a return, replacement, or refund, please follow these steps:
- Email us at support@designedbyyou.ai with your order number and a description of the issue.
- Include photos clearly showing the problem (damaged area, print issue, wrong item, etc.). Photos are required for all return requests.
- Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days and respond with next steps.
- If approved, we'll either send a replacement at no additional cost or issue a full refund to your original payment method.
What Cannot Be Returned
The following situations are not eligible for returns or refunds:
- Buyer's remorse or change of mind about the design
- Incorrect size ordered by customer (please check our size guides)
- Minor variations in color due to monitor/screen differences
- Products damaged after delivery due to washing, wear, or misuse
- Requests made more than 30 days after delivery
- Items without photo documentation of the issue
Refund Process
Once your return request is approved:
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
- Funds will be returned to your original payment method
- Bank processing times may add 3-5 additional business days
- You'll receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed
Replacements
- Replacement items are produced and shipped within 3-5 business days
- You'll receive tracking information for your replacement order
- No additional shipping charges for replacements
Lost or Missing Packages
If your package hasn't arrived:
- First, check the tracking information in your account or confirmation email
- Allow 2-3 extra business days after the expected delivery date
- Check with neighbors or building management
- Contact your local post office with the tracking number
If your package is confirmed lost by the carrier, contact us at support@designedbyyou.ai and we'll work with Printful to resolve the issue.
International Orders
For international orders, the same return policy applies. Please note that customs fees, import duties, or taxes paid are non-refundable as these are collected by your country's customs authority, not by DesignedByYou.ai or Printful.
